I’m pleased to announce the happy, or maybe not so happy:0)) reunion between Neil and the poo-hoover. It’s been a week since he’s been back to work, but today saw the start of the weekend and me stood ready to hand the hoover over. I knew I looked forward to the weekend for a reason :0))

Before he trundled of up the paddocks, poo-hoover in hand, we had a Lambivac session. Half the herd were due today and the other half ...

It was only a few days ago that I was talking about Easter Eggs and showing off at how prepared I was for a change.  Well I wasn’t prepared at all!

I’d forgotten to check the dates on the eggs 🙁

Your probably thinking now I’m a cheap skate and bought my Nieces and nephews some cheap dodgy eggs or that I’m a bit OCD and am worried the supermarkets don’t check the them,  mind after the recent horse meat fiasco who ...

Was it only a couple of days ago when I mentioned how like an early spring day it was. Totally wishful thinking on my part, but a girl’s got to have her dreams.

Dreams once were about winning the lottery, exotic holidays abroad and don’t forget a nice British racing green Astin Martin. I know I don’t want a lot! and yes it has to be British racing green, I’m female and allowed to be fussy :0))

What did I say about Groundhog Day in my last blog post? I woke up this morning to the exact same view as we had last weekend. Snow Urggggh!!!!

The poor alpacas must feel like they’re on a endless loop of the hokey cokey, in out, in out, with a little shake it all about mixed in for good measure.

Well I also guess that means we are not going to get any chain harrowing, new fencing or race repairs done today, ...

Well what a lovely day! If I hadn’t remembered it was January I could  have fooled myself that spring was on its way :0))   It would have been an even better day if I hadn’t had a phone call from Neil half way through poo – hovering, asking if I was missing him now he was back at work.  Talk about rubbing it in, I had noticed that I was back to poo- hovering on my own:0((

It’s Thursday 21st March today, I’ve just double checked why? because is it just me or is everyone starting to feel as if lately everyday is just a Groundhog day and a winter groundhog day at that. Mind I wouldn’t be complaining if it was a summer one 🙂 Enough mucking out already!

Hey if I didn’t pay homage to the weather in one form or another you’d think there was something wrong with me 🙂

Christmas is finally over, Neil has to go back to work tomorrow which is a dam shame as now I have to go back to poo hoovering the paddocks on my own:0((

All my planning came to nowt as none of the jobs I wanted doing were done due to the weather, but hey ho there’s always another day :0))

What really matter’s is that all the Alpaca’s are ok, which they are. They have coped amazingly well, especially considering all the ...

The good news is the snow didn’t settle for long after about four to five hours it stopped and we were left with sunshine, and unfortunately for the alpacas, very soggy paddocks. Sorry alpacas definitely  more barn time ahead. Naughty twinny’s will be fed up they won’t be able to get in the barn with Dora on guard 🙂

We’ve arrived at the point where are winter bedding supplies have all been used up and so have had to re-order more ...

My son Charlie survived the zombie holocaust and returned home yesterday with a big grin on his face. He reckons it was a good top up to his degree and now he feels prepared for all eventualities i.e. future Zombie invasions.

Who’s he trying to kid? Me thinks, justification for spending student loan on a jolly in London :0)) I did have to laugh though when he told me they were a group of ten, all male, and they were all ...
