It’s Thursday 21st March today, I’ve just double checked why? because is it just me or is everyone starting to feel as if lately everyday is just a Groundhog day and a winter groundhog day at that. Mind I wouldn’t be complaining if it was a summer one 🙂 Enough mucking out already!
Hey if I didn’t pay homage to the weather in one form or another you’d think there was something wrong with me 🙂
Rant over and as I’ve fixed the date clearly in everyone’s mind, you’ll know we are fast approaching Easter, unlike summer it’s early this year 🙂
My cupboards are filled with chocolate eggs for all my nieces and nephews and yes off-spring you have one too, even though you are really to big to be still wanting Easter eggs.
I’m prepared, that’s a first, mind it could be because I still have some Lindor chocolates left over from Mother’s Day and so the Easter eggs are quite safe for the time being 🙂
Talking of eggs and thinking of alpacas it reminded me of the sale of our house a few years back.
The estate agent dealing with the sale was quite interested in our alpaca farm, she thought alpacas were adorable, and so as you would expect, next came all the usual questions that us alpaca breeders are only to happy to answer.
Unfortunately I struggled to stay professional, actually I totally failed on that score, as my giggles soon turned in to hysterics.
What she couldn’t get her head round was how anything so big could come out of an egg and obviously the next question was how many do they lay at a time?
I just couldn’t and still can’t help but picture Dora sat on a big straw nest laying eggs, it’s never gonna happen 🙂
Funnily enough it was at Easter time our house went on the market and so we were able to purchase a bag of mini chocolate eggs which we presented to our estate agent as a gift from the alpacas.
I hope she wasn’t waiting for them to hatch 🙂
