It was only a few days ago that I was talking about Easter Eggs and showing off at how prepared I was for a change.  Well I wasn’t prepared at all!

What did I say about Groundhog Day in my last blog post? I woke up this morning to the exact same view as we had last weekend. Snow Urggggh!!!!

The poor alpacas must feel like they’re on a endless loop of the hokey cokey, in out, in out, with a little shake it all about mixed in for good measure.

Well I also guess that means we are not going to get any chain harrowing, new fencing or race repairs done today, ...

It’s Thursday 21st March today, I’ve just double checked why? because is it just me or is everyone starting to feel as if lately everyday is just a Groundhog day and a winter groundhog day at that. Mind I wouldn’t be complaining if it was a summer one 🙂 Enough mucking out already!

Hey if I didn’t pay homage to the weather in one form or another you’d think there was something wrong with me 🙂

Rant over and as I’ve fixed ...

The good news is the snow didn’t settle for long after about four to five hours it stopped and we were left with sunshine, and unfortunately for the alpacas, very soggy paddocks. Sorry alpacas definitely  more barn time ahead. Naughty twinny’s will be fed up they won’t be able to get in the barn with Dora on guard 🙂

We’ve arrived at the point where are winter bedding supplies have all been used up and so have had to re-order more ...

I can’t believe it Friday again already, and not only that but we are half way through March already. Time sure never went this fast when I worked in an office.

My Sister and niece Scarlett visited the farm yesterday which was really nice. Scarlett is always guaranteed to put a smile on your face and yesterday she didn’t let us down. The farm may have looked like a tornado had just hit us, as she’s in to absolutely everything but you just ...

How quick everything changes.  Monday our local paper was proclaiming we were due to be the coldest place in the Country, with temperatures expected to feel as low as -12, to two days later having some warmth and lovely sunshine, who can fathom it 🙂

If we do have a glorious summer this year, I bet it will be the first time in UK history that no one will dare complain it’s too hot and we need some rain 🙂
