Work First, Play Later

I thought today that I ought to have a rummage, not through fleeces one of my favourite jobs, but through my previous blogs.  Why you ask?  Well there is a reason, being dyslexic has its advantages although having a poor short term memory I’ve forgotten what those advantages are :0))

It also has lots of disadvantages i.e. short term memory issues.  I have to say though that by the time you get to my age coping strategies are second nature and everything is documented and checked at least twice and then twice again :0))

Hence my well over due blog rummage, I have to be so organized in my everyday life and the blog had slipped under the radar.  I could excuse myself by saying that it’s not that important, definitely not a life and death issue but to you the reader it would become an issue if I ‘d spent the last few months just repeating myself over and over again :0))

Luckily I haven’t done that but I have noticed that I seem to talk about the weather a lot sorry!  But hey it’s important to us farmers, we have to have something to moan about :0))

Whilst reading the blogs I did find something that I’m afraid I am going to have to repeat as I think it needs adding to.  It is from my New Years blog, the one containing the quote by Steve Jobs,

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.
Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking.
Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice.
And most important have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.
They somehow already know what you truly want to become.
Everything else is secondary.”

What needs adding to this quote is that; always cherish your sense of humour. Anything life can throw at you always seems better if you can find a way to smile. Hopefully that is evident in my blogs.

On that note I’m sorry but I’m going to have to show you what I’ve been doing with my new toy, my Wacom Bamboo.  Oh by the way it’s a drawing board that connects to the computer and enables you to draw and paint etc… and also to play with photo’s on photo shop which is what I’ve been doing.
