Oh my god is this really happening? Where’s this horrible white stuff coming from? Some one please tell me I’m having a blond moment, have I been so looking forward to spring that I’ve missed a couple of the winter months out on the calender.
Or is it a Dyslexic moment and I’ve just forgotten that this is the norm.
I don’t think so, I may be both of the above with a little bit of daft thrown in for good measure but snow in mid March come on, enough is enough.
What ever the case please someone make it go away! If I wanted to learn how to Ski I’d hop on a plane and go somewhere that’s supposed to have snow 🙂
Don’t worry Alpacas I’m not leaving you for snow clad mountain sides, me on ski’s is a big no no. I’m about as clumsy as they come and from what I have heard broken bones would be highly likely 🙂
As you’ve no doubt already guessed Honeyfield Hotel is back to full board status and will be so for at least the following week. Poor Alpacas I hate having to keep them in but what can you do, the fields are back to being to wet once again.
I have to say though I’m receiving lots of cupboard love, a saying we have in the horse world, from all my girls. Mainly due to spending so much time at really close quarters with them in the barn.
This would worry me normally as a pregnant female alpacas tends to be a bit grumpy and mine most definitely are not. That is until an unsuspecting male pops his head over his door and then the girls give him what for, so grumpy and pregnant they sure are, only not with me 🙂
So smart my girls they know which side their bread is buttered on, suck up to the mommy she feeds and waters us 🙂
I’m not complaining it’s nice to be the center of attention if only in my barn 🙂 that’s not to say I wouldn’t give up all the cuddles in a heart beat for some nice weather, cause I would 🙂
I’m only saying that because I know Benson would still take pity on me and throw in the odd cuddle for good measure. He’s Dora’s son and super smart he knows how to get extra rations 🙂
